Walking and Talking down the Halbeath Road

A walking group aiming at improving mental health through socialisation and staying active
next walk walk, Friday 7th May. Meeting in the main Pittencrief Park car park 10.00am

The Pars Foundation have teamed up with Dunfermline Athletic Mental Health Ambassador Eddie Martin to launch ‘Walking and Talking down the Halbeath Road.’ A walking group aiming at improving mental health through socialisation and staying active.

We’re inviting anybody, you don’t need to be a Pars fan, to join us as we walk and talk down Halbeath road and wider Dunfermline. Studies have shown that:

– Walking in a group can make us feel more connected to each other, reducing loneliness and isolation.

– Walking can improve mood and sleep-quality, reduce stress and anxiety.

– Being in nature or in green spaces is shown to have a positive impact on mental health. For full details, meeting location and registration contact enquiries@parsfoundation.co.uk

All walks and gatherings will adhere fully to Scottish Government guidelines in regards to social engagement and outdoor sporting activities for adults.
