Our Schools Engagement Programme, Count on the Pars is programme full of fun maths/numeracy practical activities designed for Primary 7 pupils and Curriculum for Excellence (CfE) Levels 2 and 3. The activities are mapped to CfE and clearly outline learning intentions and success criteria to support classroom learning.

Before the visit, teachers will receive a pupil activity booklet (PDF), which can be uploaded to pupils’ tablets or iPads for use during the session.

What to Expect

During the visit, pupils will take part in a series of interactive, practical and research-based tasks, working across four themed stations around the stadium:

  • Hospitality

  • The club shop

  • Pitchside

  • Players’ dressing room

Many of the activities are hands-on and designed to encourage teamwork and curiosity. Some questions and tasks can also be taken back to school to complete in class or at home.

Teacher Support

Teachers will also receive a teacher guide ahead of the visit, which includes guidance on preparing for the trip as well as answers to the pupil tasks.
