Walking and Talking Down the Halbeath Road is a walking group aimed at improving both your physical and mental health. This project in partnership with the Pars Foundation and Dunfermline Athletic is ongoing and it has reached its four-year anniversary.
The Football Fans in Training (FFIT) program is delivered by the Pars Foundation in partnership with the SPFL Trust, offering separate cohorts for men and women. FFIT is a health and wellbeing initiative that helps participants improve fitness, build confidence, and adopt healthier lifestyles through a combination of physical activities, nutrition education, and personal development.
Pars BEAT is a follow-on program to FFIT, welcoming both men and women to participate together. This health and wellbeing group is designed to help participants continue growing in confidence, fitness, and personal development.
The Pars Foundation are delighted to launch a new positive mental health football programme aimed at males aged 16-25 year old. ‘Keep Kicking On’ will invite young people to play football in a relaxed environment and tackle stigmas associated to mental health. Post-match we will give young people the space to speak and have the opportunity to use football as the catalyst to improve your physical and mental wellbeing.
Fancy a kickabout, a bit of exercise, and a good laugh with other local women? Our Women’s Recreational Football sessions are all about having fun, staying active, and meeting new people — no pressure, no experience needed.
Football Memories is a unique, welcoming group designed specifically for individuals living with dementia or Alzheimer’s and their carers. Using football-related memorabilia such as photographs, videos, and matchday programmes, this group encourages participants to reminisce, share stories, and engage in quizzes and conversations about the game they love. Held in a safe and relaxed environment at East End Park, the sessions are supported by trained staff and volunteers who create a warm and inclusive atmosphere.
