About Us
The Pars Foundation was established in 2013 following Dunfermline Athletic Football Club’s administration, which led to the closure of Pars in the Community. Out of that difficult period emerged a new opportunity — to rebuild a stronger, more sustainable organisation dedicated to using the power of sport to inspire and support local people. Since then, the Pars Foundation has become a respected, independent charity with deep community roots.
While we operate as a standalone organisation, we are proud to work in close partnership with and on behalf of Dunfermline Athletic FC and to share its values, heritage, and commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others. Together with DAFC and a wide network of local partners, we deliver programmes that promote health and wellbeing, education, inclusion, and personal development.
Our dedicated team of staff and volunteers bring passion, skill, and creativity to everything we do, helping to ensure that the Foundation remains a trusted and vital part of our community. Through resilience and innovation, we’ve continued to grow and adapt, overcoming challenges such as economic pressures, the COVID-19 pandemic, and evolving local needs. As we look ahead, our mission remains the same: to use the influence of sport and the spirit of the Pars to inspire, connect, and empower our community, now and for generations to come.
The Pars Foundation is a registered Scottish charity (Charity No. SC043970).
