No One Should Be Alone This Christmas

The Pars Foundation’s SPFL Trust Festive Friends event was held on the 10th of December 2025 at East End Park. The Afternoon was filled with laughter, good food, and brilliant company. From the moment guests began arriving, people settled in quickly, chatting with each other while enjoying a hot Christmas lunch made by Thomas Franks. The whole afternoon brought a real sense of comfort and togetherness. It was lovely to see everyone sharing stories, catching up, and simply enjoying the chance to sit around a table with others and it being the biggest Festive Friends we have put on yet!

During the event the room was filled with music that added to the festive atmosphere and it didn’t take long for guests to make their way to the dance floor. The whole room felt relaxed, joyful, and full of festive cheer. This was credited to our special guest, Jamie Lee Morley. Who recently appeard on Good Morning Britain with Home Cares Got Talent Choir Releasing their emotional remake of of Robbie Williams’ “Angels” with hopes of reaching that coveted Christmas Number 1 spot!

His voice filled the room beautifully, and the way he connected with everyone made his performance even more memorable. Guests spoke about it long after!

Festive Friends is an event built around the simple but important idea that no one should feel alone at Christmas. This year’s gathering showed exactly why it matters. New friendships were formed, old ones were strengthened, and plenty of people walked away with full stomachs and even fuller hearts.

None of it would have been possible without those who helped bring the day together. Their warmth and kindness shone through in every part of the event. A huge thank you to the staff for putting it all together, Thomas Franks for the amazing food and Jamie Lee Morley for helping make the day unforgettable.

It truly was a special afternoon, and a reminder of how powerful community can be—especially at this time of year.

From everyone at The Pars Foundation, thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make Festive Friends 2025 such a success.

Merry Christmas from all of us.
