Pars Foundation Launches Packed Spring Programme of Community Projects and Events
The Pars Foundation is kicking off the spring season with an exciting and diverse lineup of new projects, community initiatives, and holiday camps across March and April — all designed to support health, wellbeing, and community connection.
New Community Projects
East End Eats
A brand-new weekly initiative aimed at tackling isolation and food insecurity, East End Eats will run every Tuesday from 1:00pm–3:00pm. The project offers a free hot meal in a welcoming and inclusive environment where people can:
Share a meal
Meet others in the community
Enjoy a safe and friendly space
Ease financial pressures
The programme is open to anyone looking for connection, support, or simply a place to spend a couple of hours.

Man On – Men’s Mental Health Group
Also launching this spring is Man On, a new men’s mental health initiative based at Pitreavie Sports & Soccer Centre. This unique programme combines:
Group-led mental health support sessions
Opportunities to share experiences and access guidance
Practical strategies for improving wellbeing
Structured football-based physical activity
The project aims to create a supportive, stigma-free environment where men can focus on both their mental and physical health.

Golden Pars
For older members of the community, Golden Pars offers a relaxed and sociable afternoon experience for those aged 55+. Running fortnightly on Mondays from 1:00pm–2:30pm at Pitreavie Sports & Soccer Centre, each session features:
A different theme
Free refreshments including tea and coffee
A warm, friendly atmosphere
The sessions are completely free and designed to bring people together in a fun and engaging way.
Health & Fitness Programme
Football Fans in Training (FFIT)
The Foundation’s popular FFIT programme returns, offering a free 13-week course for adults looking to improve their health and wellbeing. The programme is open to individuals aged 35–65 who have a waist measurement over 38 inches or a BMI over 27.

Separate men’s and women’s groups
Every Monday, 6:00pm–7:30pm
Hosted at East End Park
Next programme begins 20th April 2026
Participants will benefit from a supportive group environment, combining fitness, lifestyle advice, and motivation.
Easter Holiday Camps
Creative Camp (Ages 7–12)
Running from 13th–16th April (9:00am–3:00pm) at Pitreavie Sports & Soccer Centre, this year’s Creative Camp promises a mix of:
Arts and crafts
Music activities
Hands-on science experiments
Children will also collaborate on a large “eggstravagant” themed group project, encouraging teamwork and creativity.

Easter Football Camps (Ages 5–14)
Alongside the creative offering, the Foundation will host its popular football camps featuring:

Fun, inclusive coaching sessions

Help Shape Future Projects
Alongside delivering a packed programme this spring, the Pars Foundation is continuing to develop new initiatives and is actively seeking community input.
