Supporting young people through football, friendship and opportunity
Extra Time is a Scottish Football Association (SFA) funded project that The Pars Foundation deliver using the power of football, sport and other activities to create positive opportunities for children and young.
The project supports children who may experience barriers to accessing regular football and community activities, providing a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment where they can take part, build confidence and develop new skills.
Through weekly football sessions, Extra Time gives young people the opportunity to enjoy the game, make new friends and feel part of a team, regardless of their background, ability or circumstances.
Who is Extra Time for?

Come from single-parent households.

Would benefit from a positive, supportive environment within their community.

Our Partnership
Thanks to funding from the Scottish Football Association (SFA), The Pars Foundation is able to deliver Extra Time and provide these opportunities to young people across our community.
The support of the SFA allows us to remove barriers, increase participation and ensure more children can experience the benefits of being involved in football and community sport.

Our Aim
Every child should have the opportunity to play, belong and thrive.
Through Extra Time, The Pars Foundation is committed to creating a positive environment where young people feel supported, valued and encouraged to reach their full potential — both on and off the pitch.
